Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by an identical item, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The survivors can get reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of each preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and grant the item an upgrade level, giving the item a boost in that particular area. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with one another, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be applied, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them extra effects or an increased level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, my latest blog post can be swapped freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either Armor or Weapon), the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show how close to finishing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
